The Relationship Between Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes
13/05/2026
12/5 every year is celebrated as International Nurses Day — a special occasion dedicated to honoring nurses, who work tirelessly day and night to care for patients and make invaluable contributions to the protection and improvement of public health. At National Hospital of Endocrinology, nurses play a pivotal role in patient care and treatment, especially for individuals suffering from chronic endocrine and metabolic disorders such as diabetes, thyroid diseases, metabolic disorders, and obesity.

These patients require long-term monitoring, comprehensive care, and detailed guidance throughout their treatment process as well as in community-based disease management. Within the hospital environment, nurses not only carry out physicians’ orders and closely monitor patients’ clinical conditions, but also serve as the closest companions to patients throughout their treatment journey. From daily care, medication guidance, blood glucose monitoring, and dietary and lifestyle counseling to health education and consultation, the nursing staff are always dedicated to supporting patients with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
On many occasions, nurses are the first to respond when patients need assistance; they are the silent caregivers working through the night, attentively observing even the slightest changes in patients’ conditions. They are also compassionate companions who patiently encourage and comfort patients, helping them feel more confident and reassured during treatment. These quiet yet meaningful contributions form an essential foundation for improving healthcare quality, ensuring patient safety, and strengthening public trust in the National Hospital of Endocrinology.
On the occasion of International Nurses Day, May 12, the National Hospital of Endocrinology would like to express its deepest gratitude to all nurses currently working at the hospital. We sincerely appreciate your unwavering dedication, strong sense of responsibility, sacrifice, and compassion that you bring to patient care every single day. We wish all nurses continued good health, happiness, and professional growth. May you always preserve your passion for the profession and continue to uphold the noble values of healthcare workers: “Dedication of Nurses – Happiness of Patients,” thereby contributing to the continuous development of a modern, friendly, and patient-centered hospital guided by the motto: “Dedicated to the Profession – Persistent in the Mission – Compassion from the Heart – For Community Health.”
